Check-Up days, held every other month at the Center for Healthy Living at Parkview Noble are still seeing crowds ranging from 70 to as many as 130 people.
More than 250 people attended the Noble County Health Fair, co-sponsored by Parkview Noble Hospital and the Purdue Extension in Albion last March. There were booths with health information for people to learn about cholesterol and other health issues.
On June 8, the Parkview Noble Foundation golf benefit at Cobblestone Golf Course raised $30,000 for pediatric therapy. The Desper Family Team with Dave, Julie (current Manager of Parkview Noble Therapy), Chris Desper and Amy DeWitt took first place.
Parkview Noble Hospital was Sponsor of the Day for Ladies Day at the Noble County Community Fair, July 12 and offered blood pressure checks, healthy snack making and played activity dice.
Fun at the Noble County Fair
More than 300 kids went through the Parkview Noble booth August 5 at Kid City and learned how to perform first aid and created their own first aid kit.
Kids learn first aid tips and also rehearsed making an emergency call on the 9-1-1 simulator at Kid City.
Attendees at the Parkview Noble Community Health Fair were able to have several free screenings, including bone density screenings and car seat inspections, on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the 12th annual event.
